The Real Buster
The Buster the Very Shy Dog early reader book series is based on two real dogs; Phoebe, a Springer Spaniel, and Buster, who was half Labrador and half Australian Shepard. Phoebe loved nothing better than a party where she would entertain people and help herself to food and drink. Buster was so shy that strangers thought Phoebe was an only dog. Blessed with a big imagination and cursed with very bad eyesight, he was tender hearted to those he knew. They are shown here with their author, Lisze Bechtold.
